Far more than just a dance, Argentine tango develops manners, posture, and balance. It evolved in the old days, amidst lonely people a long way from home.

Today, it’s even being used as therapy for couples, also phobics, and as physiotherapy for Alzheimers, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, as well as many others.

Tango is all about the walk, the embrace, and the connection to four important elements; your partner, the music, the ground beneath you, and the people around you.

“TAMiGO” was created to teach friends who were keen to learn Argentine tango and wanted a casual environment to experiment in. The aim of the classes is to introduce this elegant art form, and to empower people with the fundamentals so that they may have the confidence to dance with anyone they choose. In this way, we hope that our community will grow.
